What is ASL Seminary?

Invitation from a prophet to attend Seminary

ASL Seminary Program

Seminary is a worldwide, four-year religious educational program for youth ages 14 through 18. It is operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but is open to teenagers of all faiths.

In seminary, students and their teachers meet during the school year to study scripture. The curriculum is organized in a sequential or chapter by chapter manner. Instruction concentrates on a different volume of scripture each year, rotating between the following four courses: Old Testament, New Testament, Book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants and Church History. By the time a student graduates from seminary, he or she will have completed the study of all of the standard works of scripture. (https://newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.org/topic/seminary)

The ASL seminary program is taught in classes that are both in person and remote.  These classes are taught using American Sign Language (ASL) and are intended  for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students.  Deaf and Hard of Hearing students from all over the country are able to connect with one another, and with their teachers, to learn deeply about Jesus Christ.  Come and join us!
